Hi, Liz and congratulations of course. I've been here in Pittston taking trainers classes and relearning how to do the backing maneuvers on the pad and going over pretrip.
Tonight as I was getting ready to leave the terminal (I was standing outside with Richard's sidekick, John) another driver outside said he was here to pick up his student, Elizabeth. I asked if she is from NJ. He said she is. So I assume it is your TNT trainer I met.
He seems super nice. Good luck with TNT!
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
Cool. Thank you! You met Howard. We meetup tomorrow. We’ve been talking the past week. He wants to finish his reset and told me to enjoy a bit of time with family. Hopefully we head out tomorrow!! I’ll be up in the am maybe I’ll see ya!

I have some classes in the am. I'll keep an eye out for you.
Congrats Liz! I knew you’d get it done! I’ll be seeing you out here on the road or at a terminal somewhere. I just tested Tuesday and I’m at the house enjoying some home time waiting on my tnt to get routed through N.C.

Congrats Matt. I had to run back home in a family emergency. I’m waiting to hear from my dispatcher when I can restart. See you out there!!!
