Just thought about this. If you're using the thing outside, you don't even need to use the smoke-filter. Kind of obvious. Lol. Geez Louise. I'm liking this thing even more now.

The base version has a $23 off coupon on Amazon right now. Making it $200. I kind of want the one with the temp probe. But that's $270.

Dimension:

Product Dimensions 17 x 14 x 11 inches Item Weight 14.5 pounds Shipping Weight 26.9 pounds

As I copy and pasted the dimensions, I decided to buy it. I just came back out from home time a week ago and won't go back until Thanksgiving. Wal-Mart has them for $199.99 but their prices always show lower online, than in-store. The Wal-Mart 6 miles from me has it in stock. I guess I could buy some other things there at the same time. And it's open 24/7.

The more expensive version on ninja kitchens comes with a bunch of accessories that make it much more valuable

Looks great. But I already kaboomed one of my 1500w inverters with a 1500w appliance. Didn't even think about startup draw.

That thing won't play well with Primes inverters.

So, did you end up buying and using this on your truck?

No. Not with an inverter supposedly rated at 1800 watts, that needs the truck on to run a 700 watt microwave. All the batteries are new too. Not taking the chance for now.

I bought one. I hope to try it in the next day or two. But I gave a 3000w inverter

I would look at the 4 qt Instant Pot... Much smaller footprint and will run on the 1800 watt inverter. Myself, I prefer the Oster 12" skillet. Easy to clean, and cooks quickly. Steak and eggs baby... As far as cleaning, I use a mix of Isopropyl alcohol and water, 50/50. Just spray and wipe. Use it on your mirrors and glass too, especially in the winter months.

Another cool appliance that I have been thinking about is the Ninja foodi or something like it. It's like an insta pot combined with an air fryer. It draws 1400w, probably more start up but I can't seem to find that info.

The grill works great in the house. Hopefully my inverter will power it.

I cooked a steak and some sliced potatoes in about 15 minutes.

Well, the grill works great. At least with a 3000w inverter.

Steak on the grill and baked potatoes in the microwave.

Made a couple of cheeseburgers tonight. Cooked, eaten, and cleaned up in 45 minutes.
