Well crap!. There goes my hope that you would be my TNT trainer at Prime.
Sorry man, I tried hard to not come across as misleading in any way, while also keeping this a secret. It wasn't easy.
Had this deal fell through, and I ended up staying at Prime through next year, I had already decided to make an exception and run you all the way through TNT.
Obviously I'll still personally recommend you to my FM. You'll do very well on his board. You have my info, and I'm only an email or phone call away if I can help.
I hope to see you out on the road when I'm driving flatbed at Prime.
You certainly will. You'll be visiting many customers that are within my home turf. It's only a matter of time before we meet up on the road.
Obviously, you will keep us posted with DETAILS of the job...
Yup, most definitely. I haven't come across any first-hand accounts of a WMPF driver, so I'll do my best to shed some light as I go along.
Thanks again, folks.
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
Congratulations! You’re an inspiration and I appreciate your insight every time you post.
I hope this position brings the hometime and joy you seek.
Congrats again!
Holy Smokes!
Congratulations!!!!

Thanks Turtle. Its nice to know that you thought me worthwhile to consider training me through TNT.
Of course, I am even more disappointed that you seriously considered training me if your Walmart gig fell through.
Despite my personal disappointment, I am genuinely happy for you. Old School talks about the psychos and the monks. In my opinion you are the epitome of the monk personality. While you have shared some of your frustrations on the forum, you seem really handle things well.
You also seem to really embrace the adventure that is trucking. So its nice to see someone with such a great attitude and positive perspective reap the rewards of simply doing the job well with a good attitude.
I will definitely be in contact as far as Prime flatbed trainers and FMs. But had you trained me through TNT , I would have missed the right of passage that is the nasty slob lease op trainer, who only took on a trainee because he bitter at not making the money he expected, that yells at me constantly, teaches me nothing and, if I'm really lucky, pees in my tea. So as Carl Spackler said "I've got that going for me."
Again, sincere congrats.

Congrats Turtle, now I can stop asking every red Prime flat bed if it's a turtle over there.
