Thanks PackRat! Just getting re-edited pre-trip documents laminated and heading back to hotel.

(Vance was hunting... little to no cell signal till he got back to civilization!)

How did it go today?

Thanks for asking, Rob.

I picked up and moved 3 empty and 2 loaded trailers today driving over 300 miles after losing 2.5 hrs. because previous student left key on and killed truck batteries. Went from Masterfleet yard in Green Bay (across the street from Schneider) to my "home" yard in Sturtevant (used by Schneider, J.B. Hunt and Veriha) to Menards Distribution Center in Iron Ridge and back to Masterfleet. (Sturtevant was a relay because we didn't have time to run to IL). Tuesday AM I am taking (still attached) loaded trailer to Escanaba, MI in the (wee hours) of the morning. Current Gross weight is 72,000+ lbs., other was around 57,000.

(Trainer had to pick up his boy around 4PM so we parked loaded rig for delivery to Escanaba tomorrow AM).

I feel like I could have driven a couple more hours if we had the time.

Getting along well with Vance. For some reason he didn't bring his usual lunch. Fortunately I had an extra sandwich. Bought 2 sugar-free Redbulls (2-fer price), slammed one going to truck... gave him the other. Bought coffee while waiting for jump box. (My $100 Costco jumper / charger / compressor couldn't jump the truck). It's AMAZING what $700 buys in that category! Couple of backs, not terrible. Roundabouts pretty good. Highway also not bad. Empty got a bit squirrely on rough pavement... wasn't sure why... till the "Caution Gusty Winds" sign a few miles up the road!

Tomorrow's another day and it will be here soon.

Night!

Be safe!

Thanks Stevo! It was pretty fun. Shared that while he probably shouldn't tell them... truth is if they weren't paying me I would probably be willing to pay them to do this! (He types @ 01:57 waiting for trainer to arrive to start the day)...
