Dont know this is certain or not, but have seen reports of shut off fuel cards.
I was just reading that as well. That the bank that funds those cards are jumping ahead of the filing and cutting them off.
Unfortunately, I called this awhile ago which is why when someone asked here about driving for them I tried to steer them away, unfortunately I do not remember who it was to know if they ultimately went with them or another company.
I see or used to see them daily on 65 between Chicago and Indy.
Hey guys. I am new here. Does this apply for celadon Canada? I was just going to join them in February now I am concerned. I liked the recruiter talk very much
CRST has done the same, any current Celadon needing drivers home will be helped no strings attatched.
What happens to all those drivers?
They'll wind up finding a driving position somewhere else. Hirschbach has already offered free bus tickets to drivers who get stranded, whether they apply with them or not.

It will effect Hyndman as well as Jaguar, their Mexico fleet.

Thank you for letting me know. Either they didn't knew about it, or he was super smooth about pretending nothing was going on. Either way, I am going to try another carrier. Would love to join manitoulin as well....
J & R Schugel Recruiting sent me an email offering to help out any stranded Celedon driver I might know. (Just on their contact list from previous communications when I was looking for a "home").
I think it's pretty cool the way other companies step up to help driver's out in such trying times.
Lease ops are going to get screwed more. Most lease contracts i have seen have a "completion bonus" made up.of.money they put in over the years. Trucks belong to the bank, lease terminated, no bonus given. Prime lease completion is as high as $36k of YOUR money they took over the lease.
Celadon leasees have no way to recover that money.
That's going to be for the lawyers to figure out. When a company closes down crazy stuff happens with contracts for example of a college closes you can apply to get your student loans cancelled. Hope that all that is involved makes it through.
