Whenever you encounter conditions like this, especially at low speed; lock your differential so that all 4 drive wheels are powered.
That's exactly how I handled it, otherwise I would have never made it.
At first I didn't lock them, but quickly realized I wasn't going to make it without locking them and even then, it took a few moments for it to gain enough traction to get me going.
The load is very light as well.
Having looked at that grade again..."yes", I agree no-way you'd have made it if only 2-wheeling.
Still a great job though and an excellent learning example for others faced with a similar situation for the first time.
