Warner pretty much has a terminal in or near every large in the US and a lot in smaller towns. So far any place I have picked up or delivered to I have been within 30 to 40 miles of a terminal.

Hey Gary, is there a specific reason you want a company with a terminal located there? Because you certainly don't need to work for a company with a nearby terminal. In fact, in 15 years of driving I never once worked for a company that had a terminal or drop lot or anything in my home state.
We have an excellent listing of Truck Driving Jobs. Do a search for the Las Vegas area and you'll find all of the companies that hire out of there. It makes no difference if they have a terminal there or not. As long as their freight runs through there they know they can get you home when it's time so they'll hire from there.

Brett, thanks for the reply. Definitely helpful. I've read a lot on forums that it's better to drive for a company that has a terminal in your hometown, so that's why I was asking. If it doesn't really matter, that's that much better as I have more options.

It does not matter where your company is. If you are not near a terminal they let you take your truck home.

Not all companies let you take your truck home. When I was at Schneider Bulk I had to park the truck at the terminal. Wasn't an issue for me.
For most companies it won't matter though.

Looking to the future, I'm wanting to buy a house in SW Las Vegas area. Are there any companies that have terminals in Las Vegas, N Las Vegas, Henderson area? I've looked into all the big ones I can think of like Swift, CR England, CRST, Werner, Central. None of them apparently do, and I'm not thinking of any others off the top of my head.
