Another driver was telling me and showed me his cell booster set up on his truck. He claims to get atleast two bar signal boost with it. I would say do some research on those things and see what they claim you can achieve with them.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Definatley research them. I've seen the boosters at several branded truckstops, around $500 for them. I just use mobile hotspot on my phone. Anywhere I get a phone signal I get great internet however it may not work for your situation as it sounds like you may need fancy stuff ( VPN and voip, IDK what they are) but I use straight talk wireless on a galaxy j7 crown and can watch hulu and netflix with no issues.

So I'm an IT contractor that does installations in hospitality and educational sites (hotels and schools) And to supplement that work I provide remote support. I need an internet connection that i can use a vpn and stable enough for voip I've done some testing with an older cellphone and It seems like as long as I'm within a half mile of a major highway I'll be good. What I'm wondering is if my theory is right and would it be worth it to get a dedicated mobile modem and external antenna?
