Packrat I will certainly look into that! Thank you very much for that information, Iron9s! So, should I wait for the new updated or go with something older? When does the new come out?

Take a look in my profile page under the photos gallery.

I have a couple pics in there of the Eagke Eye Dash Cam I have. It has three cameras that you can mount anywhere with a 12' cord on the two remote cameras. One on each mirror's CB antenna. It is not a wireless unit, though.

I picked it up at The Iowa 80 for about $240-$260 over a year ago.

Rand is cycling out their current stock of what you have seen on the shelves with new models. Here is a place with some discount pricing. https://rand.factoryoutletstore.com/cat/25719/Rand-McNally-GPS-Navigation.html?cid=92970&chid=1&campaignid=63245644&adgroupid=6634438324&creative=175727814440&targetid=kwd-98169320&matchtype=p&device=m&network=g&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-o2YgqX_5gIVg8DACh09VQ9OEAAYASAAEgI3I_D_BwE

P&D:

Pickup & Delivery

Local drivers that stay around their area, usually within 100 mile radius of a terminal, picking up and delivering loads.

LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers for instance will have Linehaul drivers and P&D drivers. The P&D drivers will deliver loads locally from the terminal and pick up loads returning to the terminal. Linehaul drivers will then run truckloads from terminal to terminal.

DAC:

Drive-A-Check Report

A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).

It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.

Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.
