They just told me they were moving forward with other candidates...I was stunned and couldn't think to speak so I didn't even ask why. I was a waiter for the past 9 years and before I went bankrupt and foreclosed I was desperately seeking more money to pay off a mortgage so I hopped around from restaurant to restaurant. But I'm a worker. I'm 50 and have had a job since 16 so I'm perplexed.

I am from Spokane as well. I am a week away from getting my own truck with Wilson Logistics. Great training program. Did they give you a reason for denying you? I know they have a tuff driving record policy. Also getting trained during the winter is a great time because winter driving can be tricky.

The companies can reject an application for anything they wish, and many times it won't make any sense. They can also use any reason they want, too. Don't take it personally. The good news is there are plenty of companies to choose from.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

It's funny how a "denied" can effect a guy so I really appreciate the advice and encouragement. I'll get there and hopefully see you out the road sooner than later...This calls for some peach cobbler ala mode.
