Short answer, yes you will be. Bring it up to your new dispatcher. Just advise them you are ready to work hard but need to take home time first to see family and load the truck. They understand.
Welcome to flatbed. See you at Charlotte pipe.
Thanks for the reply bro! Actually dropping at Charlotte in Monroe in the morning lol picked up from cedar City.
Congratulations on making it through TNT Mike! A company knuckledragger no less, that's awesome!
Part of your upgrade process should be meeting your FM. At that time, he or she should ask you if you want to go home. That's pretty standard for someone coming off of TNT. After you've been assigned a truck and you get your gear stowed away, they'll dispatch you on a load headed towards the house where you can take a few days to set your truck up.
Good luck. Protect them tarps!
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
Hi, Mike. Just as your fellow flatbedders (Turtle will always be a flatbedder no matter what he's currently doing) said, after you upgrade you'll speak with your fleet manager. He/she should ask you or tell you that you are getting a load headed toward your home. Enjoy watching those videos again *evil laugh* and congratulations!
Congrats! In reefrr my FM.made me stay out 2 weeks before home time. That is typical for.him.

Congratulations! I have been out since just before Christmas with orientation, PSD , and just starting TNT. Going home in 10 days though, so at least I have that to look forward to!
Prime Inc has a CDL training program and the first phase is referred to as PSD. You'll get your permit and then 10,000 miles of on the road instruction.
Prime’s PSD begins with you obtaining your CDL permit. Then you’ll go on the road with a certified CDL instructor for no less than 75 hours of one-on-one behind the wheel training. After training, you’ll return to Prime’s corporate headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, for final CDL state testing and your CDL license.
