Update on how things went with telling my current job that I am leaving.

They did not want me to leave and asked if there was any way they could restructure my work to keep me. Because I have already considered everything that they would be able to offer, I declined.

But because they would prefer that I stay, they will keep my position open for a month in case I get sent home or decide that trucking is not for me.

While the manager told me that, professionally, he wants me to stay he told told me, personally, if I'm going to pursue this be "100% committed."

I think that Brett may have got to him.
