Yeah, being sick on the road is weak sauce. NOT. FUN. AT. ALL. I had the pleasure of getting sick out on the road, wasn't feeling good for two days, and couldn't taste anything properly for a week after. And the best part is I got my trainer sick too! But trust me, if you can find a way to get through it, hey man, suck it up and get on down the road. But if you are too sick to drive, then DEFINITELY keep dispatch informed and don't make yourself a dangerous driver on the road. All it takes is one thing to go wrong in one of these trucks, and you can shut down an entire section of a county. And one thing dispatch doesn't take kindly too is surprises. Let them know of every little problem way in advance, and especially if you're sick.
I will say this though, while I was sick (and driving with a 101 degree fever) I actually felt a little better while driving. Got my attention off my flu and on the road, and while I was driving (and downing orange juice and water like it was going out of style) I felt fine. Now of course when I stopped driving, everything felt the way you would expect to feel when you've got a flu, but if you are feeling well enough to drive, go for it. Simply because it will take you're mind off the flu and you'll make money in the process. But again, if you're not feeling good enough to drive, then take as much time off as you can to get well. Don't be a hero if you don't have to. Being sick in a moving truck is not as fun as it sounds...

I'm finally starting to feel normal again lol My first 4 days were crazy topped with a wole bunche of runs and lack of sleep prolonged it. @star- I had the capsules not the liquid. Maybe I shouldn't of had em but I did. What really helped was the cold and flu tea I drank every night before bed helped me sweat it out lol topped with some honey and sugar and I was good as new. I took an early hometime to try to get more rest. Was running so hard I was running on recaps after 6 days with no 34. If you have tim you have miles. @brett-gotta make that money:)
