Business insider had an article about Walmart and Amazon drivers not being told how to deal with the coronavirus. I doubt most of our companies have. To be honest, it's not the employers job to. The way I interpreted the article was they're trying to make both companies look like they don't give a crap about their drivers. It even says that drivers don't handle the freight so why does B.I. make it into a big deal? ......

Business Insider puts up stuff I often don't come across elsewhere so I do read a good bit there, but your point about a slanted view is well taken. It's a lot of ongoing work to keep an active radar going for media bias from EVERY source.

..... the coronavirus kills about 2%....

Regarding that 2%.... it may shrink considerably as it's being recognized that there's possibly a larger, uncounted pool of infected people who have minimal symptoms and may never be diagnosed, thus being uncounted in the pool.... if those were factored in, the 2% drops.

Trucking presents unique challenges for risk mitigation. Who's ultimately in charge, or what is the logical chain of command? Once again, the bottom line in this, a different venue, may best be served with the same self-accountable, self-responsible attitude that differentiates top-tier drivers.
