So i've been a way for a little while but I'm back with great news. I accepted my first truck driving job! I'm going to work for Olympia Sports. It's going to keep me home, i'll be driving truck, and pay and bennies are great. I am beyond excited right now. It will be nice because it's mostly day runs with a few single overnights so i'll get a little experience with those. I'll be driving their trucks from their warehouse to their stores. No customer service, no middlemen. Just me and the company. Just seems ideal for me. I start on the 24th so i'll keep you posted on how it things go. See you on the road!

Thanks everyone! I'm so pumped to start this career and I know how lucky I am have gotten this position. There are guys I went to school with that never even got interviews with anyone local. And yes star I plan on making this company proud as well as myself. I'm not taking anything for granted.

What a blessing. Sounds awesome.

I like StarCar's comment. Work hard. Show them how much you appreciate what they are doing for you. Too many people these days have no gratitude for the jobs that they have.

Good Luck Heavy C. I know you wanted this. I remember the earlier post. "Good things do come to those......"

Keep us posted.
