We got taken off a 1500 mile run for a 500 run SLC to Denver for Costco...was 12 hours early for 4 4 pm appt. Checked in and was next to dock......44000 lbs of FAK lol 6 others waiting to bump the dock.....Very nice people n Fast !! 20 minutes to unload fully loaded trailer.....Was like 8 other of our trucks not to mention about 60+ trucks parked waiting for Costco DC man they are busy.

We had gotten company wide message saying we essential and when under these type loads HOS rules are null

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I picked up my NY load this afternoon. Shipper had a health questionaire we had to fill out and gave us a letter with the bol stating this material is essential and please do not hold up the load. Loader said it was to show law enforcement if questioned. That’s a bit different for sure

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
