Upbeat and energetic
Sometimes I prefer to ride in silence, just listening to the wheels and the rhythm of the road. But when I listen to music my taste is broad, from rock, to easy listening, country, to R&B, even classical at times (though rare). Pretty much anything from Def Leppard or Nickelback to James Taylor, John Denver, and Jim Croce, to Zac Brown, and a lot of stuff in between.
One artist that fascinates me is Phil Keaggy. He's a Christian artist, but a lot of his stuff is just musical guitar and his talent is, well, see for yourself. Here's a link to his Shades of Green, and realize he's mixing as he plays.
Phil Keaggy is a world class guitarist. He's also missing a finger on his right hand. I've listened to his nusic for years.

Other good ones are “Wolf Creek Pass” and “Black Bear Road” both 1975 about Colorado Rockies driving. I grew up in Denver, so liked these songs.
