I have no clue, haha.. but, just wanted to say, it's GOOD TO SEE YOU AROUND, again~!
A trailer hand brake is an option on any truck. My company doesn't order them, so our trucks do not have them.
The last three company trucks (2017, 2018, 2020) I’ve driven did not have the option, either.
They are offered as an option, but a lot of companies don't opt for the trailer brakes. Especially companies that have lease drivers. The lease ops use the trailer brake as a means of slowing the truck, shifting maintenance costs from themselves to the company. WM trucks have the Johnson bar.
Operating While Intoxicated
Many drivers use them for silly things, like hanging their jacket on... Kind of destroys the trailer tires, at least according to my buddy that does road calls for TA.

😂😂😂
I never really thought about it as an option...Just had one in every truck I’ve driven until I went to J.B. Hunt last year. About a month in I got a new truck (600 miles) and it doesn’t have one. Y’all stay safe.
