You know you are in the sticks when they say we have to move this cow carcass off the dock before you back in.

It had been there so long it was picked clean. Looked like something you would see in the desert in a western movie. I grew up on a farm and didn’t realize what I was looking at. Though yo be fair it wasn’t something I expected to see in a loading dock.

It was this strange, yet no photos? Yeah sure.

I was in my truck backing in. He pulled up beside me with a skid steer.

Yes, this did happen.

Red is where the cow was, green is where I had to pull out to let him go get the cow. Couldn’t get a picture from there.

Oh, yeah. I see it now in that satelite view. Love that Google Earth.

Whatever Packrat.

No idea why you would call me a liar over something so stupid. Believe what you want.

That was not my thought at all, nor did I ever write that I was calling you a liar. Maybe you need to re-read the posts a few more times?

Sorry you got your feelings hurt over nothing.

My feelings weren’t hurt, but I’m not sure what else you could have meant by this.

Here's the REAL deal...every DAY.

"You KNOW you are in the sticks when . . ". >> this is how you leave home for your driving shift, and barely clear the trees out the end of your yard~! (Better have some skills, haha! I couldn't / can't do it... just the other half~! With doggo on watch, of course!)

I was at a chicken processing plant in lumber bridge North Carolina. By the time I got loaded I asked the security guard as a left, I'm out of time is there anywhere I can go? And he told me about a place a 1/2 mile down the road. He said lock your doors and don't go into the convenience store... I asked him why? He said nothing but meth heads and hookers... I hadn't even parked yet and 2 girls were coming up to my truck they were probly in their twenties but they look like they were 50 years old. On top of that no phone or Internet service. I started thinking about personal protection after that trip
