I had a friend that traveled with cats and she taped a piece of plastic over the switch so the cats couldn't activate it. Think of a small pvc pipe cut in half turned upside down over it. When she wanted to put the window down she could maneuver under the arch to use the switch. Not pretty but effective.
That's a unique "pet problem", Jamie. I've heard of pets accidentally locking the doors, or blowing the horn, but never inadvertently putting a window down.
Maybe you could get him trained to put the window up?
Operating While Intoxicated
You could "accidently" give the cat a push while wife is not looking. HAHA cats not my favorite except except outside here on the farm for mouse and rat control.
A ten pound cat is big enough to swing the doors open on your trailer. I'd start teaching him to contribute to the team with responsibilities like that! No free- loaders on the truck!
My dog used to do this on road trips. GORILLA TAPE over the switch, and leave about 1/2" folded over onto itself, so you can life it up and get to the switch if you need to. Scared the bejesus out of me the first time she did it, she could have easily gone right out the window.
In "regular cars" (or trucks/SUV's in my case), there's a "windows lock" button - where you can "lock out" the non-drivers window switches.
Obviously, the industry doesn't need to "child-proof" (or CAT PROOF) their passenger windows.

So my wife and our two cats are with me during this time out, we got everything setup for the cats and all that. But one of the cats weigh about 10 pounds and when he seats on the window switch to roll the window down, he does by accident. does anyone know any ways I can help prevent this?
I have a 2020 freightliner, so the window switch once hits roll the window all the way down.
