So when I came into cdl school I was ready to absorb all the information I could, now after several set backs not including coro a virus I am at the point that I can't keep going through this with nothing to show for it I am not making money and I am left in a situation where I can't keep waiting to make money and I have just lost all hope which is causing me to make seriously dangerous mistakes when I do get limited drive time since I have to work so I don't know what to do to give up on this now or what I should do here if there is one more set back I will get worse
IMHO, the panic attacks that you seem to have, don't help.
Have you entertained the thought of COMPANY PAID TRAINING? Roehl (I think...) pays off the bat, as soon as you are hired...and OTR is THE way to go, for starters (or forever?) anyway!
Read Brandon Kitts' diary. . . he left EMT/Firefighter/911 OUTright.... and is super successful . . . after the trials and trib's.

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
OTR:
Over The Road
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
