How many businesses have you been to in the last week, month, or ten years that are autonomously operated? Other than an ATM or a TransFlo machine, I can think of none off the top of my head. I've seen two shippers that had automated forklifts, and one shipper that loaded my trailer robotically. The self-checkout lines at the grocery stores have a human assistant standing by when the machine doesn't register the barcode.

Truck drivers will not be added to the endangered species list anytime soon.

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
