How do I study for just a class b?
Why only class b? Sort of seems like a waste of time really. You should try for class A that way you have more options including class b. But regardless you will still pay the same for schooling cause the training is not much different except it's a straight truck instead of a combination vehicle.
A vehicle with two separate parts - the power unit (tractor) and the trailer. Tractor-trailers are considered combination vehicles.

Indeed we always recommend that people get their Class A instead of class B. At some schools the class B program will be cheaper, but you're severely limiting your opportunities. Why go through the time, trouble, and expense of getting a CDL and then settling for a Class B? Go for the Class A right away. Then you know better opportunities will always be open to you.
Also, have you looked around at the job market for Class B? Do you already have a job lined up for it? Because most Class B jobs pay kinda lousy unless you're unloading the truck yourself. Then you can make better money.
