I rechecked the Road Dog Live archives and last Thursdays show with Brett has finally posted.

I'd imagine you have to be a subscriber to SiriusXM to get access to the archives, which many of us are not. So I'm hoping they'll let me embed that broadcast here on our website. I'll try to find out more today.

I finally had a chance to listen to it this morning. I really enjoyed that. I gotta admit based on many of the conversations I hear on the road and the occasional post in here I was very surprised there wasn't any company bashing that got through.

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
