Maybe you should ask your doctor and not a bunch of truck drivers. ;)
You're probably right. Lol!

I slipseat once a week. Three of us share two trucks. Just sani-wipe everything before your shift and you'll be fine. Steering wheel, switches, handles, etc.
I slip seat a different truck every day. I just use basic hygiene practices. The company has provided sanitizer, wipes, masks and gloves if you choose to use them. I feel I'm more likely to pick it up at a truckstop or shipper/receiver than in the cab.
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
We where provided wipes and hand sanitizer, so I just wipe down the wheel, shifter, buttons, handles, and seat belt. I also use hand sanitizer throughout the day. Personally I'm not too concerned with a few precautions it shouldn't a problem.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being akin to skydiving without a parachute, how dangerous would you say slip seating is these days? My elderly mom with COPD lives with us. 12 drivers sharing trucks. We take whatever truck is available when we get to work.
