Looking to pay an individual experienced driver for a few ride a longs to pass the driving-side of the CDL. I can ace anything written on paper, it's more so the "hands on side". I pass the driving portion of the CDL , you get paid.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Nobody's going to do that as an individual.

You are driving their truck (which will not be covered by their insurance). A drunk, illegal, terrorist from Pluto with no license, runs a red light, in a stolen car, during an escape from a bank robbery with six hostages, and a trunk full of meth and RPGs.....

Guess who is at fault? The driver that you "rented" from.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
