Redgate, I just want to work. I really am solo and just want to save for retirement. Whats the maximum that WEL will allow their drivers on the road. I dont mind work 8 weeks at a time. Pls let me know.
If you are regional your out Mon thru Friday and home weekends. If OTR you stay out a min of 2 weeks. Max is 5 weeks. You can stay out longer but you only accrue 1 day per week out up to 5 days.
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
