One thing to use caution on here. I deliver to a big competitor of Lowe's quite a lot and they have fixed appointments. Often the people at the store are quite willing to receive early, but note that the time you delivered goes in their computer. Their Corporate Office is very sensitive about delivering at the right time...not early or not late. They have told our dispatch that you can lose the shipping lane for delivering at the wrong time. No matter what I get on the Qualcom, I always call the store and ask what time they are scheduled to receive me. I conform to that time as I don't want to be the guy that loses the contract for us.

Erik M,
You just put a big hole in my argument . . . thanks for that . . . there is always more info to be considered and making negative assumptions usually involves not having all the info . . . think the best of people and you usually can't go wrong, right? That Ag inspector in my example was still an egotistical jerk, though.
