You will certainly need a residential address to get any form of driver's license. Now it doesn't necessarily have to be your own address. I drove for years and lived in the truck most of those years. I didn't have my own place for most of those years so I used my mom's address and that's what was on my license.
So you will need a residential address.
You will probably need 2 pieces of paper with an address on them depending on state. If you have a bank account you can get a statement with whatever address you want printed on it. Voter registration cards, tag receipts, leases, rent receipts etc. You can get someone you know to write you a rent receipt.
