I've Been Sick This Week

I just wanted to say that your many posts and articles have helped me a lot in my career. I post very rarely but read what’s written here regularly. I felt compelled to say thank you very much and I wish you a quick recovery. This website has been a big factor in my surviving the first two years of my journey as a truck driver.

Keep your head up, when you’re not keeping it down, OS. This will pass. Best that these nagging injuries pop up now while you’re safe at home rather than on the road, 2000mi away. Best of luck with a speedy recovery!

I was looking kind of rough after my second surgery. I went ahead and punched my doctor in the eye on my one week post-op follow up visit. I figure that was only fair!

This has been a real trial for me. I'm still not certain if it's all going to work out the way I'd like it to. I'm hanging in there and doing the best I can with the hand I've been dealt. I'm no stranger to difficulties. They are life's stepping stones to being a better person. I'll be back in here as soon as I can get better.

I miss all of you, and will return when I can see straight.

Great to hear the update. We all miss you and are keeping you in our prayers!! You have been through alot for sure, but your positive attitude will carry you through.

No rush Old School. Your wisdom is missed, but health comes first. You'll overcome this like you have everything else. I wish you a speedy recovery.
