Congrats. Is Barry your trainer by chance?

I just heard that Millis is going to start phasing out the trucks with double bunks and replacing them with single bunk trucks and also removing air ride passenger seat and replacing it with seat bolted to the floor. Is this information correct and if so what is the reasoning behind it ? Suppose a driver wants to take his son out on the road, NO PLACE TO SLEEP.

Thanks

New trucks are specced as you listed, training trucks will have top bunk and air ride passenger seat.

I'm a buckeye myself but living in GA, no havent met him properly, but have crossed paths at some point. I have a dedicated route now, minimum 2500 miles a week, leave GA Sunday and Tuesday nights, deliver to Columbus every Monday and Wednesday by 0800. So I rarely see anyone anymore.

Dedicated Route:

A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."
