This company sounds like a good one. I'm looking at different companies to work for now. I should be done with my school this week...YES !! Does anybody know if they have routes out to west coast for delivery. I live in Nevada.

I don't think they run that far out. They're primarily down south and recently jumped in big time into the midwest.

Thanks RedBeard..Hows it going out there....Almost got this first week knocked out..Got through the road and agility test, Smith System and hopefully we'll get to review coupling & uncoupling today..Get a chance to meet up with Squid the other day also, good dude who's willing to help as well as all the other folks I've meet this week...Be safe good luck

congrats dude uh as for me well..... my shifting really sucks and my trainer is getting a little ****ed but he is a good one and is hard on me but fair so hopefully it will get better.

Week 1 graduate......,Yeah RedBeard on our road test I think that was everybody's biggest problem I know part of it's being new to driving but also this ProStar you're shifting pretty quick with those RPM so low it just take a little bit to get used to

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Started with 8 and after 2 drops + 1 for DOT physical & 1 for agility (heart rate) we are down to 4

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

yea they drop fast Mcelroy has high expections for its trainees and those who dont make it get cut we had started with 12 and only 7 went to trainers. The group after me started with 12 also and only 5 made it to 1st week but one did have to leave cause of the guard so he is coming back. Now i am hoping that all seven come back for final week plus the two boys from your neck of the woods and the two guys from north carolina.

Completed first 2 weeks and got to talk to my trainer today...He seems to be a pretty good guy...Start out with our first load Sunday @ 4
