I will not bad mouth the lease program. If you read more into this site is geared more towards people starting and helping them out. Not a great amount of positive info on lease to own programs. From my background in farming lease programs are OK if you can find tax advantages but as far as buying your own truck I would save up and pay cash for a good used and have enough left in the bank for an overhaul to be safe. I believe an in-frame is getting into the $30-$40,000 range anymore.
Do you want the truth?
Here it is..,
Put lightly in comparison to what you’re making right now, you’ll lose your ass doing that lease.

Only reply if you are a current WE Lease owner please, or have good advice about another company; I am currently a company driver with 10 Roads, hauling mail for $32/ hr. Assuming a 40 hour week i believe it is around $0.65 per mile based on a 2500 mi wk. SO, when I look at Western's Lease offer, I see that the per mileage pay is way more ($1.50-$2.75 mi in the Northeast). I guess my question is, after my weekly payment for truck and fixed costs, would I take home more? Is it worth the extra work for a little more, or is it a substantial difference?? Please don't badmouth the lease programs....i am a hard worker with 5 years of safe driving, and I can see no other way to make more money than to own your truck.... Looking forward to positive feedback. Brian.
