Unfortunately contesting anything on your DAC while not impossible is so horribly difficult that most people give up. Of all of the people I have talked to that have contested information only one of them was successful without a lawyer(stolen identity case)
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.
Their site says 10 to 15 business days unless unforeseen circumstances. That is 3 full weeks plus the holiday...and any delays covid may have caused.
If you got an email it may be confirming the receipt of your inquiry and they are working on it. Idk
Back in March, I used the link on this site and ordered it without any problem. The book that came (5 years of driving) took about 6 weeks... That was at the start of this China virus.

A couple/few weeks back I asked how to contest inaccuracies or at least to view my DAC. I was given the link for hireright and contacted them immediately. I recieved a response that someone would be in touch with me shortly. As of today the only response that I have since then was this morning confirming my name, E mail, and the like.
Am I missing something? Is there a better place to ask my question about my DAC than hireright?
I dont think it should take this long?
