As a flatbed I sometimes feel reefers search us out to park beside at night. Lol. However after about the first week it no longer bothers me. Besides most of the trucks with tripacs are louder than a reefer anyway.

It’s not a huge issue, but if I can avoid them I will. And I agree with tripacs, and them searching us out. I have parked places with 30 or more open spots, parked all by myself, and a reefer will pull in and park right beside me. Every time. Lol

A refrigerated trailer.

Reefer drivers and people who idle can park by me anytime. For whatever reason, I sleep better with all the noise. Could be because years ago (22ish) when my ex and I had a small trucking company we pulled reefers and idled.. when I'd go on the truck, if it was quiet, that meant trouble lol. Of course reefers were much noisier back then. Same thing with sleeping when the truck is moving.. rocks me right to sleep and always has, providing whoever is driving is experienced and I trust their driving.
