Hi, I am currently working full time and have been considering becoming a truck driver. Being a father of three children i would ideally prefer a local job, or one that can get me home at least every week.
Have been looking into private schools, but was wondering if there are companies that pay for my program and that can offer me descent home time?
Howdy, and welcome to TT ~!
The company Roehl comes to mind; they've got a few lanes with varying home times, some as more liberal than others. You can actually research them, and apply to them, right here on this TT forum site.
Just put their name 'Roehl' into big white (search) bar above, and do some research. We've actually got a few TT members on here, going to training through them now~!
Best of luck to you;
Anne :)
FedEx freight trained me and I get home everyday. Some days are longer than others so it's not all quality time at home, but I get home.
Some locations are currently hiring driver apprentices. I don't know where you're located, but it may be worth looking into.
