Maybe it wasn't a total loss afterall - I actually found a couple of companies/guys willing to train me even with that measly 10 hours of training. One I found in a local newspaper. The other one was through the owner of the school I trained in. I have to get my actual license card first though. Hooray, maybe...
Good luck. This might turn out to be a golden opportunity by backing into a job through circumstances you were not aware of or it might not turn out to be exactly what you want but if you can get into a big truck and keep your safety record clean and get 1 years experience then you can go any where and get a job of your choosing after that.
Trust me we I tell you that when you first start trucking that year will fly by cause it's all new and you will be learning so much.
