I want to apologize. It is obvious by your latest rants that you truly are mentally disabled and have some severe issues. Perhaps some learning disabilities as well since you refuse to believe what those in the industry have to tell you.

And you are correct.... A trucking company should indeed be forced to take every single suicidal, depressed person to ensure civil liberties rather than Protect public safety. As you stated suicidal people only kill themselves.... So the company is risking only a $150k truck. $50k trailer. And possibly millions of dollars in cargo is totally acceptable when the driver wants to end his life by driving off a cliff. Because after all.... He has rights.. I mean the privilege to a CDL.

Despite one vehicle causing a 70 vehicle pile up that could kill a dozen and injure many more, resulting in tens of million dollars in lawsuits.. it is totally acceptable and within the law for companies to hire anyone and everyone. Even those who hide their disorders and conditions. It is required by law for the company to risk its equity and reputation as well its contracts with customers so that a driver can feel entitled to all he can. It doesnt matter if the driver can perform the job or not.

Just give CDLs to everyone and the world will be a better place. Drug addicts and alcoholics whether in treatment or not should be allowed as well. After all.... Those are medical conditions so we might as well throw away the drug tests. Also, the DOT physical discriminates against any and all person suffering from physical ailments or conditions.... A guy with a history of seizures and heart attacks... No problem. It doesnt matter if his episode causes catastrophe. As long as his rights werent violated. So it is unconstitutional. They must be thrown away.

I agree. Totally.

Here you go again raving and ranting, posting off-topic spam, making false implications and assumptions. How would you like to be sued for slander and defamation Kearsey? I will not tolerate slander and defamation to my character based on fabricated insinuations. If your going to be a moderator here, then you need to start acting like it, and stop making absurd claims and false implications. Perhaps you need you need to pay closer attention on what is bring stated, as I've noticed you have a problem consciously acknowledging the contents of a post. You are also spamming up this thread with comments and assumptions that have nothing to do with the topic.

You are a trucker, not any kind of specialist. You are not a doctor, or my recruiter and your claims contradict what they have told me. And for the record regarding your education you mentioned earlier, if you did have political science degree, you wouldn't be trucking. I ran for US Congress Illinois District 16 in 2018, and have been an active public politician touching down on sociological concerns. I know a lot more than you think I do. Go ahead and look me up online, I would have won the election race too if it wasn't for FB. If you truly have a political science degree then why are you trucking and not running for office? Do something good and humane with that degree to better the community.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

EPU:

Electric Auxiliary Power Units

Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices

K.O., you are quite the hypocrite whining about how others "should be more respectful", when you have cast insults about truck drivers in three of your posts. Yet, you want to be a truck driver. GMAFB. So spare me the "I'm only trying to help others, but these rude, nasty drivers are making accusations towards me" BS. We "uneducated, rude people who do not know what we are talking about" are being productive and working. What are you doing? Rainy is correct when she stated you are "emotionally disturbed." Frankly, I feel sorry for your dog.

That's from when I ran for Congressman. You can find other sources online too, I don't have a degree in Political Science you claim to have Kearsy. If I can run for Congressman and almost win the election with a degree in politics, then why are you trucking if you have a degree in politics? You stand a much better chance at an electoral office than I do (if your claims on your education are truthful).

You also have to smell farts, and share public bathrooms, and go though a bunch of requirements and rules.

Lol-sounds a lot like life over the road as a truck driver. Sure you want to try it?

Over The Road:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Your last post States you "don't have a degree in PS, but you almost won an election with a degree in politics." Which is it? I guess you couldn't deal with losing an election (because of Facebook), so now you need an emotional support dog? Thank God you did not win! Who is providing emotional support for your emotional support dog? I feel he probably needs it.

I follow the law, and I have no problem with good communication or chitchatting with dispatch as needed. But I am looking forward to making my own scheduled drive times. If I want to make my run in the middle of the night instead of during the day. I don't have to put up with working as a team or being bossed around. And I'll make sure Pam Transport knows that all they have to do is tell me what to do, where to go, and what time to be there. The rest is on my own schedule and my own terms. There's a lot more freedom in trucking than factory, warehouse, and farm work. It's a great fit for me, and I love driving, love working alone. So yes I'm positive.

Wow, I woukdn’t want to be the PAM DM that has to call him about anything. Such as seeing driving behavior on the camera feed that is concerning, or a tight delivery or pickup window or anything else.

Here is a thought for you. I own my truck and have to answer to people everyday. They set schedules, not me. I am free to figure out the in between but that is all. We all have a boss.

Anyway this uneducated stupid truck driver has a delivery to make so I can keep my job.

Good day everyone.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

My fellow Moderators, please stop approving KOs posts... he’s on watch for a reason.

They serve no useful purpose, he’s become a troll.

It might be a good time to close this one down. If the OP's condition precludes them from being a trucker, the company will come to that realization during the hiring and training process. Anyone interested in trucking will be fully able to get actualized info on taking their pets with them by simply making some calls. OP, I'd suggest looking into some online sessions with a practitioner of Internal Family Systems therapy. It's excellent you are able to feel more emotionally stable by having your dog with you, and for the most part nothing about will have to change, yet it's also important to keep finding additional ways of furthering your emotional resiliency.
