Schneider has an Operating Center in Laredo. I used to haul loads into there weekly. They also have another one in Dallas.
Maybe something there for you.
Werner should have something dedicated /regional there if you don’t mind touching freight Or backing in tight areas. If you post your zip I can see what they have available there
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
I would suggest Werner as well. Last I knew, they had a terminal in Texas, and I remember at other terminals seeing on the company channel that they offer a sign on bonus for some of the accounts our of that terminal.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

I am new to driving and moved to a new area. I can't find any carriers in my area that have what I want/I am qualified for. I have right at 6 months experience in a semi hauling rock and dirt. Does anyone know of any carriers in the far Southern part of Tx that might take me on? Would prefer to have a dedicated or regional route. Already checked with the major companies: Averitt, CR England, KLLM, and Pam to name a few.
