I meant to type Texas, Florida and Tennessee use semis for special enforcement and public relations duties. There may be other states, too.
Probably got seized. In my hometown they had an unmarked PT cruiser. Also used a Geo Metro decked out that they seized to do drug buys. I thought it was genius, who would think this PT or Geo is a cop
I'm surprised it's taken so long for states to use rigs for enforcement.
