Some Democrats push more extreme environmental laws and penalties which impact drivers. What if the laws passed in California are made nationwide?

Well, since Harris has already been quoted as saying Commiefornia will be the model for the entire country.

You can BET ON IT.

Used to be CA was the "test case" for new environmental and other laws - with CAFE becoming the model for emission standards that ended up nationwide. It's easier for manufacturers to bring all vehicles into compliance, than do separate runs for CA.

This has lessened somewhat in recent years - but there are many Class-8 trucks that no longer get a waiver to operate in CA.

Between some wild variation of Green New Deal crap - and rising fuel costs, as well as the influx of drivers from newly legalized, illegal immigrants.

I still think we're going to be in for a bumpy ride.

There is no evidence of massive fraud, any fraud for that matter. Court after court are dismissing such claims over and over for lack of evidence.

Many districts had more ballots than registered voters. Missing thumb drives? C'mon man.

Does that prove fraud or clerical errors?

Why do conservatives need Trump? Aren't the ideas he supports more important than he is?

Bottom line is Trump's mouth cost him the presidency.

As far as regulations in the trucking industry, it was a Democratic controlled Congress and Democratic President that passed and signed the MCA Act, which deregulated trucking.

You, mean a way more moderate democrat President and Congress, far from what the democrats represent today. Do you think the "Green New Deal" would have passed by such a Congress, and signed into law by Carter back then?

Not all Democrats are far left liberals.

And which type are you?

Oh - your girl Kamamalala supporting rioters and insulting small business owners.

Why do conservatives need Trump? Aren't the ideas he supports more important than he is?

Because he's the ONLY ONE WITH THE BALLS TO STAY THE COURSE.

Many drivers refuse to drive in Kalifornia because of the laws and regulations.

And Kyle Rittenhouse? What, exactly, separates him from all of these other people?

Even if you think that Kyle is guilty, that doesn't change the fact that the person liberals want as VP helped to bail out criminals Does it? The people that bailed out Kyle aren't vying to become VP are they?

I am not on this forum to discuss politics. In the early stages of the pandemic I replied in a topic discussing just what is the big deal about the COVID virus. I contributed a set of information I believe to be true. Brett called my post BS and deleted it. So I am waiting for a time when politics is not part of this forum. Old School's reply to the OP says it all:

Democrats like to eat and buy things just as much as Republicans. Don't give it a thought. Trucks roll and deliver goods under all kinds of circumstances. It's hard for some to understand, but as a trucker, I made more money during a "pandemic" than I had during the "best of times."

Any trucker worth his salt will find they can prosper while disregarding the mad obsessions some folks have with the nation's current affairs. You have a fair question, but it's only because you are new to this. Don't let politics keep you from enjoying this rewarding career. Truck drivers control their own destinies. Career politicians control far less than we give them credit for.

I agree. Get back in your trucks and move America's stuff.

I can't believe Brett has allowed this broken bottle fight to continue for two weeks. We all have political opinions, and we can share them in driver lounges and truck stops. But Trucking Truth needs to keep to it's mission: helping new truckers to learn to enjoy this fantastic profession.

EPU:

Electric Auxiliary Power Units

Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices

Errol V., I agree with your post completely! You have been sorely missed as your posts are always right on target. I agree that Brett needs to end this fiasco so everyone can get back to all things trucking and stop the crying and hatred that some people including some moderators that are fueling the fire. The country needs our co-operation to help heal the political wounds and get back to what we do best, DRIVE TRUCKS!

I really haven't been watching it, to be honest. I'm in the process of moving the website over to a new server, implementing a completely new design, building a new video course that will be available in the coming months, and many more things along with trying to enjoy the holidays with my family so I wasn't watching closely.

I've put the topic into moderation, so from now on any comments on this topic will be manually approved.
