The United States will survive and thrive under any president as one man(person) is not capable of ever changing that.

I would agree with this except it is more than one person. Half the country feels the way he does and we won't be the USA anymore if they actually win the runoff elections in GA. They will push as much stuff through as they can, and it will be the end of America as we know it. We will become a socialist state and probably collapse, because we can't support it.

I don't think so because not all of the current Democratic Senators support those ideas.

If Harris/Biden make it to the WH, Harris will take over with the help of Pelosi via article 25. Harris has yet to condemn the violence.

It doesn't matter which party is in charge. The Federal Government reacts to the economy, it doesn't create the economy.

All the president does in the end is accept credit or receive blame for the ups and downs of the economy.

We will survive - for awhile at least - depending on how much effect the left wing (ACO/The Squad - Bernie - Fauxahantas) have on economic policy.

It is however - a symbiotic relationship between "the market" (which people use a gauge for "the economy") and Federal Government actions on things that affect the economy (both directly, and indirectly). The market makes HUGE MOVES - sometimes in a day - depending on what the government does.

But like it or not - the market rallied INSANELY for the entirety of DJT's term - even amid C-19 shutdowns.

The president - does much through EO's and REGULATIONS (or how the admin directs the agencies they run - like - oh, D.O.T.), most of which are simply the implementation of legislation. Or A LOT OF WHICH ARE - "I have a pen and a phone" - which was used (OVERUSED) during the "O-Years" - in many respects in a manner NOT CONSTITUTIONAL (or an overstep of the authority of the executive).

No? Come one man. DACA - the executive cannot CREATE LAW, nor can they use EO's to NOT ENFORCE EXISTING LAW. Yet existing immigration law was BYPASSED. And strangely, when DJT tried to reverse that EO (DACA) SCOTUS shot it down - NOT BECAUSE HE LACKED THE AUTHORITY - but because the proper procedure (paperwork) wasn't executed. Similarly (another example of unlawful use of executive authority) - the ACA Employer Mandate - was set to be implemented on a certain date - BY LAW - which the wonderful O delayed with an EO, because it would have been VERY UNPOPULAR for a candidate seeking re-election.

So the notion that we just "chug along", with an admin that has promised to be "destructively progressive" - with a candidate who barely knows where he is, is DELUSIONAL IN THE EXTREME.

So sorry - when the POTUS is being pressured to do stuff that the leftists supporters that HELPED SEAL (err STEAL) the election desire - it will HAPPEN. Forgive student debt? Are the lenders NOT ENTITLED TO BE PAID? Well, the government will make the lenders whole. How will they DO THAT? BY TAXES OR BORROWING. C-19 bill that "financially assists state and local governments" (instead of small business and individuals) - WHO PAYS FOR IT?

Did you ACTUALLY LOOK AT NANCY'S LAST C-19 RELIEF BILL? I DID - read the whole ******* thing (2 calls to the suicide hotline in the process). VERY LITTLE FOR ACTUAL C-19 Relief, and a WHOLE TON (TRILLIONS) for things not even remotely related to C-19.

Anyone who thinks the GOVERNMENT PRODUCES $$ (except through the printing of TRILLIONS - further devaluing the currency in circulation already) has NO IDEA HOW AN ECONOMY WORKS. YOU EITHER TAX OR BORROW. Most folks don't even know THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEFICIT AND DEBT (go look it up - I only have 5,500 characters here) - and they certainly don't teach it in school. Or go ask AOC - the "economics major" (I throw up in my mouth a little at the thought).

And if they crash the market - BAIL IT OUT - with MORE BORROWING OR TAXATION.

Now - I'm not a big GOD freak myself (kind of a mix of agnostic and atheist at the moment) - but a party that won't even say "one nation UNDER GOD..." when reciting the national anthem at their convention - IS NOT A PARTY I TRUST IN THE LEAST.

When the 2 seats in GA are ROBBED (and they're no longer even COY ABOUT IT - with registrations from people "suddenly moving to GA") they will have a TIE in the senate, broken by the VP. And EVERY SINGLE BS SPENDING BILL WILL SAIL THROUGH.

Don't give me this "Joe Manchin will save us" crap.

They may (or may not) add justices to SCOTUS. D.C. DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE A STATE - absorb them into MD/VA if they're so hot to be part of a state. P.R. - maybe, but hell - make Guam a state while you're at it. How about the US Virgin Islands, or the Northern Marianas, or American Samoa.

The kind of spending the left wants (even the old guard) is NOT SUSTAINABLE. And we're not even TALKING ABOUT SUPPORTING THE 22 million+ illegals that will gain status (11 million my glutes), or the MILLIONS MORE that will see the border "open for business" again.

I won't even get into the WARS WE HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING IN - that we will SURGE. DJT was a heartbeat away from coming out of Afghan & Iraq (and also Syria). Was making peace deals with Arab countries and Israel to contain IRAN (who the left just LOVE - anyone that HATES ISRAEL IS THEIR BUDDY). And DOOM ON THE JEWS IN THIS COUNTRY THAT VOTED FOR THIS (I'm a Jew, so I can say this). THE ONLY STABLE FIRST WORLD DEMOCRACY IN THE REGION. They are the "finger in the dike" that keeps all the others in check.

We'll flip both houses in the mid-terms - if we can RE-SECURE THE VOTING SYSTEMS. But all that does is STEM THE TIDE UNTIL '24.
