It was at Slamology in Indianapolis this past summer. The were plenty of decked out semis there with my favorite being customized by an outfit called Davis Brothers
A couple weeks ago walking the dog, saw some movement in the grass and thought it was mice, was this instead.

Had to rescue this little guy (Carolina Wren) Sunday. He flew inside the cabin, then wore himself out trying unsuccessfuly to make his exit. I was able to scoop him up and take him back outdoors to rest in a safe spot. He flew off again in less than 30 minutes.

Thanks for that.
Love hearing happy stuff. My puppers wouldn't have been so kind, methinks.

ps: I've seen his cousins next door...on occasion; high up in their feeders!
How funny is this? Had to get a picture.
I thought some might find this interesting, some trucks I saw when vacationing in Italy earlier this month. Just did a short video while we were stuck in traffic (turned out to be a car accident up ahead, only saw one car by the time we were allowed to pass by after being stopped for about 15 minutes).

To add to my video, I did see more trucks with 5th wheels but many did not so that made me wonder if these were all company trucks, no drop and hook , etc. I did see some doubles , the front van was always part of the tractor with the drives near the back of that van. Drives were usually or maybe always single axle. I saw some flatbeds that had side racks that appear to fold down for loading, didn't notice if loads were still secured on those trailers.
I just found it interesting how trucks there were so different. Part of it is because many of their roads end up being smaller, though I don't recall seeing the trucks on anything other than the Autostrada (freeway). I saw zero weigh stations.
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.
Drop and hook means the driver will drop one trailer and hook to another one.
In order to speed up the pickup and delivery process a driver may be instructed to drop their empty trailer and hook to one that is already loaded, or drop their loaded trailer and hook to one that is already empty. That way the driver will not have to wait for a trailer to be loaded or unloaded.
