My job site delivery this morning
Chief Brody, that's crazy! I once had a delivery to a place where the workers were on strike. I didn't realize it until I got there. It was a multi-stop flatbed load. My next stop was only about 10 miles away, and they were kind enough to unload and store the materials that should have been delivered to the other customer. When the other plant quit their strike, they had to hire a truck to go over and pick up their materials.
Came across this yesterday on I-64 at the exit for highway 208 just a bit before Charlottesville Virginia. Dont know if he had a tie up with another vehicle, fell asleep, tried to hit the exit and missed or what. Dont know the outcome for the driver but seeing this sort of thing is a stark reminder of just how fragile the cabs are on these trucks.
Yet another entry into the category of "why we cant have nice things"
Some Ahole thought the grassy area was a good place to park for the night after some heavy rains. Loves paid good money to have that grass placed there and good money to mow it, now it is unmowable and not much suited for dogs to poop on. I hope they got his license and charged him or his company for repairs.
I had to wait for him to land before I could depart the airport after delivering.

Accident on I65 in Louisville Kentucky, this was my view repeatedly for a while.

So I picked up 40,000 pounds of 7th grade school books today, when he brought the paperwork out to me I asked about a seal. He replies "We don't seal these, they're K-12 school books, who would want to steal them?" Bwahhahaha I guess he's right but what a sad statement for society at large. I'm sure the government is paying a fortune for them yet their value by the American public is so little that they don't even warrant a seal. Hell, even scrap cardboard often gets sealed. SMH.
