Trucking Truth On A New Server

It would appear if you are logged out and try to click on someone’s profile ie Brett or Rob T, it will just go to a blank white screen. If you log in it works okay.

When I tried getting to the forum without logging in, it was a white screen, but when I logged in and tried, it brought me here right away

Thank you so much, guys! That one was a bit of a doozy to figure out. I didn't have the cache setting right for the forum and it was caching blank pages. We don't cache pages for logged-in members, so the forum worked if you were logged in.

Bug squashed! We're getting there!

I noticed it showed from the main index the last reply in a couple threads as being by "Blue Zombie Trucker", but inside the thread the display name actually reads "Cobalt Cyborg".

I can't say for certain it happened in this instance, but I noticed that prior to the change. It was always the member had changed their name and it took a few hours to switch to the new name on the main page.

Thanks man! I think that happens if someone change their nickname after posting something. It doesn't always update immediately.

Brett, I just signed in and started reading the general forum and gothru about 3-4 posts then it wouldn't move. Went off and came back and all is ok.

This morning I had to restart one of the programs and it took about 90 seconds. The server would have stopped responding completely during that 90 seconds. There were probably 30 or 40 people on the website, but I had to do it. You might have been on the site at that time.

That's the only time I know of that the server hasn't responded today, but sometimes crazy stuff happens that I don't see right away, like the forum serving blank pages yesterday and this morning. I had no idea that was happening. I didn't even think to look for it. There were no errors being thrown or anything.

I just wanted to bump this one time to see if anyone has noticed anything unusual. I have most of it ironed out pretty well, but it's easy to miss things. There's a lot going on.

So if you see anything strange about the website, let me know. Thanks!
