This was at the 7030 Walmart DC last Wednesday night, about 1800. Brutally cold and windy. About 16” fell overnight. Nothing moved until the next afternoon...
Trailer bans on all of the major interstates.
Same spot the next morning...

Driving down I-70 west 12-24-20, stopped in Jeffersonville Ohio since the snow slowed me down enough delivering a day early probably wouldn't have happened.
Yep, pretty much 'snowed in' here at the house, @Mikey B.
Too bad you're not a tad closer; I'd have you come eat with US!!!
Be safe, man!
G'town .... you ever get out of YOUR conundrum ?!?!?

Valentine's Day 2020 just north of Green Bay. Hopefully won't see anything like that this winter.

So at that point how do they decide who is going into which door?

This is my 1st winter as a driver and I’ve got an education the last 3weeks fro Oregon Washington and Colorado seeing how I’m a az boy I’ve thrown like 1 snowball in my life
I'd love to see some of the Winter Weather elements you guys are encountering. We drivers get new and interesting challenges with each day. It's good to share with each other and see what is going on in various parts of the country. Since I'm not driving right now I'm sharing one of my shots from a past winter. This was taken in the Northeast - Connecticut to be exact. This particular customer would drive four foot tall stakes just outside the driveway that the big trucks took to get into the receiving area. They would try to have the plows keep the drive clean but sometimes it was just impossible. The stakes were painted reflective safety red at the top. I always knew I was on the pavement if I could just keep it between those stakes.
The weather has been particularly challenging this week. You guys keep safe out there and don't take too many chances. If you aren't feeling safe go ahead and shut down. As you gain experience you will be able to handle all kinds of foul weather, but don't take too many chances as you are just developing your driving skills.
Please share some of your winter photos with us. I always enjoy seeing what you guys and gals are up to.

View from the house this morning. Light snow, beautiful day and no wind. There were a bunch of people out skating on the lake earlier.

Nice!

Yes. Thanks for asking...!
That snow event actually occurred the day before my day-off. I stayed at the DC instead of driving home for the day. Caught up on sleep, cleaned the inside of the truck and later in the afternoon dug out my car and truck. Helped others dig out as well.
Wasn’t all that bad.
