Our impasse is simple. You're trying to assess my situation based on your experiences and your feelings on the situation. Like I said earlier, if you're happy with a 600 mile turn and waiting 10 years then good, I'm glad. But saying that this isn't for me because I don't see it the way you do is kind of ******y and so was your into to the conversation. "I'll emerge from the shadows". O brother.

Banks, if you did not want to read others response, then you shouldn't have posted originally. You "are bored with your job and looking for something else."< We get it! So, stop your crying, go work somewhere else andSTOP BORING US with your whining!

Thanks for the insight, Don. If you're bored with the thread you could've just clicked on another one. I don't really care about how you feel about it. Last I checked your name isn't Brett so, I can post what I'd like. Thanks again.

Not sure why youre so angry man. Hope all is well. We don't see eye to eye and that's fine. I'm not mocking your goals and theres no reason to mock mine. Its not going to take 10 years to get a day run btw. Anyway, maybe you'd like the xtra board? You can choose where to run based on seniority and make some damn good money. Look, as I said before, I didnt mean to offend you man. The way I see it, driving is boring in general. Listening to satellite radio definitely helps but it is what it is. So ill ask this, what would make a driving job more enjoyable since you do want to drive?

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

We have guys that kill for a 350mi round trip run. In at 8 or 9 and home by 3. Don't make a lot of cash but great home time! :)

Hagerstown FXF starts everyone at top rate now. At least till March. Have one month in - Top Rate. Brand new after training? - Top Rate.

Yea we've got those too, I plan on trying them all out via the xtra board before settling on one I like. But obviously, its not for everyone.

Our longest run is about 650 miles. Ironically, to meet ATL drivers. Nice money but man is it a long day.

Yea it definitely will be. What terminal do you run out of again? I havent been on here in quite a while. We have to rescue our meet drivers all the time because they run out of time. We have over 100 runs so I'm sure theres one ill settle down with at some point.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Friendly fire too since it's all FedEx freight.

Day cabs are supposed to stick together!

Personally I'm with CT, give me that 600 mile daytime run and I'll be happy. But The great thing about trucking is there are many options if your not happy with your current situation.

Day Cab:

A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.
