Okay, one more.. and yes y'all's. Quotes OF Quotes. I like exercising the good ole' memoirs of the mind, haha!

Is it Pain, or is it Pleasure? Is it Work, or is it just Weariness? Is it a Living, or something more akin to a Lifestyle?

Okay Anne, I gave it a full day just to let others guess. Then you bumped the quote right up to the front page and still no one took a shot at it! I confess that one came from me. I was in a contemplative mood that day and it produced some thoughts that just sort of came rolling out. Occasionally that happens.

Ya know what, O/S . . . you DO wax poetic . . . often. What I am doing is writing these quotes (SO FAR ALL OF EM!) on Rolodex cards..(was gonna use postits but nahh.. non conducive) in CALLIGRAPHY pens.. and my sister (in Florida) and I are going to make something meaningful out of this..craft wise. She's a crafter; I'm not.. but I think it will turn out, way cool. I'll letcha know more, as I do!

THANK YOU, ALL!!

"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: "

This is the first part of a quote from a famous scientist. Hint: he traveled around the world on a "Beagle".

double-quotes-end.png

This was said by Charles Darwin. He traveled around the world on a ship called the HMS Beagle

..and my other half said, either Einstein or Darwin. DAYUM.

Thanks, tho!!!!

Okay, here's a one-trick one:

"girls comb their hair in rearview mirrors and the boys try to look so tough..."

I've got thousands of these in my head.

Then ADD MORE and quit hogging your 1000's, LoL!

Trick question. Written by, or made famous by? Could be Kris or Pearl.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I am fairly certain that one came from my friend G-Town.

"Be yourself, everyone else is already taken!"

I just saw this the other day in a meme going around on FB. I already forget who said it though.

Anne must be an absolute wonder in a trivia game. I remember G‐Town's "Watch your wagon!" and the line that Kearsey gave to us and led to the new approach here (which I was super grateful for. Things were starting to feel incredibly unfriendly around here before that.)
