Exactly . . . why I moved into the 'spare room' for sleep; sadly so~!!! I've got zero heat running and the woodfire at embers only, so I can kick it up easily tonight, and sitting in front of my personal fan. My 'office' is still in the 'main' room . . . and I'm shaking off the 80F he had it in here until his departure at 1100 ... LoL!

Lol still hear in Yuma waiting to be loaded and it’s about 70 degrees 41 is nice but I’m enjoying being back in az 🔥🔥🔥

41 degrees inside the cab at 0145 this morning in Boardman, OR. I slept with the vent windows open.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

51 and overcast here in Woodstown, NJ. Just got home after bobtailing from our Pittston, PA terminal last night to start a week of vacation. I'd rather vacation in Yuma weather☹

Bobtail:

"Bobtailing" means you are driving a tractor without a trailer attached.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
