That's it! Great security too. No way someone will try to pickpocket from the front.

1. Take your wallet out of your pocket while driving. This provides pain relief for a lot of truck drivers.

This.

There are front-pocket wallets that follow the contour of your pocket. I've been using the Rogue Wallet for years. Love it. No more off-kilter while sitting.

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Depending on how many bells and whistles your seat has, you may be able to remove the seat cushion and swap it with the one from the passenger side. If not, I'd be asking the shop to replace it. Of course properly adjusting it is important like others said. I will add: Make sure your butt is all the way back, the height is adjusted to where the weight is evenly distributed- not too high where a lot of pressure is on your legs or too low where most is on the butt.

I use a lumbar cushion and it helps me greatly. Also don't forget that sitting for extended periods can lead to blood clots forming in your legs and maybe traveling to your lungs and becoming a thrombosis. It is a good idea to do calf squeezes and calf raises while driving to keep blood circulating. Also just getting out of the truck and walking around helps.
